How do I craft Armor? - Guild Wars Forums

I bought a salvage kit and went to the crafter but it didn't say I could craft my armor. Help.

First, go to the armor crafters. Peruse their selection and choose what armor you want. Memorize or write down all the requirements: craft materials and gold price for each. Go and get the list of requirements, then come back and have the guy craft your armor.

You need to salvage items/loot from mobs. Double click on the kit and then click on the item/loot to get the material. Find the material you need and give to the crafter with gold and you get the armor.

Where are the armor crafters in the new ascalon? I only see crafters and not armor crafters. Crrafters don't offer armor right?

The crafters in post-sear Ascalon City only craft armor, as far as I know.

ok, ive been trying to upgrade my hammer and armour but i cant.. im W/MO13 yet im still using standard gladiator armor and hammer.. the only thing the crafter does is customize my weapon for 20% damage.. THATS ALL.. i have no option of upgrading my armor and weapons.

The only way to upgrade weapons is by customization, as you have already done, and upgrade components, which are hard to come by and very expensive to buy off someone.

Armor is upgraded by placing Runes on it. Keep in mind you cannot benefit from the same kind of rune twice, and that you can only use runes of your PRIMARY profession. This is because runes are linked to your armor type. The only exception to this that I know of are the Vigor runes, which anyone can use. Also, before you start slapping runes on armor you will probably want to get the best armor you can first. No sense in blowing a rune on crappy armor.
